Lamine Yamal is once again surrounded by rumors of a romantic relationship

Lamine Yamal is reportedly linked romantically with the British model and influencer, Lily Rowland.

Lamine Yamal previously attracted significant media attention due to his past relationship with Nicki Nicole, when the teenage player confirmed at the end of last year that they had broken up. Currently, the Spanish star is rumored to be involved with Rowland, a London-born model and influencer.

According to ABC, reporter Anna Gurgui analyzed the situation on the podcast “En todas las salsas” and revealed some clues she believes indicate the possibility that the two are dating.

She said: “Lamine Yamal, like many footballers, doesn't follow the girls he likes. But I noticed some likes and thumbs-up from Lamine Yamal on Lily Rowland’s posts, and I thought: ‘Oh, this is unusual.’ I also saw Lily liking Lamine Yamal’s posts.”

Gurgui’s “investigation” also showed changes in Rowland’s social media activity towards Yamal’s ex-girlfriend Nicole. She revealed: “Just a month ago, Lily stopped liking her posts. People are speculating in the comments that she might be romantically involved with Yamal. Recently, Lily’s photos mostly show her at Barca’s stadium or matches, wearing the team’s jersey. Keep an eye on her, as this relationship resembles the one Yamal had with Nicki Nicole. No confirmation yet, but the signs are quite noticeable.”

Rowland is a British model and influencer who has collaborated with brands like Casablanca, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, and Armani Beauty. She has a huge social media following, with over 4 million followers on Instagram and TikTok, where she shares content about beauty, makeup, fashion, and lifestyle.

Meanwhile, Yamal is a name gaining global media attention after rising to stardom with Barcelona and the Spanish national team. The 2007-born prodigy remains focused on football but also shares how he tries to separate himself from the sport.

“I do what any 18-year-old guy would do: hang out with friends, take care of my little brother, play PlayStation, go for walks… things like that,” Yamal told ESPN.

“I try to spend time with friends and live my life. I don’t just focus on football or constantly think about matches or watch videos of defenders I’m about to face. I enjoy a full day, and when I’m on the pitch, I give my all. When off the pitch, I try to disconnect from football as much as possible.”

Barcelona and the Spanish national team surely hope Yamal won’t be distracted by off-field activities ahead of a busy upcoming period. Hansi Flick’s squad has won the 2026 Spanish Super Cup and is still competing in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League.
