Leaving CAHN, the U23 Vietnam star officially joins a new club

PVF-CAND Club has officially announced the signing of defender Phạm Lý Đức for the second half of the V-League 2025/26 season.

"Defender Phạm Lý Đức officially joins PVF Công An Nhân Dân and will play for the club during the second half of the 2025/26 season," the Phố Hiến team posted on their official website. Accordingly, Lý Đức will officially appear in PVF-CAND’s jersey starting from matchday 14, after parting ways with Hanoi Police Club.

Phạm Lý Đức joined CAHN from HAGL at the beginning of the 2025/26 season. However, upon joining a squad with deep resources, the key U23 Vietnam defender was unable to compete for a spot against experienced and prominent players like Trần Đình Trọng, Đoàn Văn Hậu, Hugo Gomes, Bùi Hoàng Việt Anh, and Cao Pendant Quang Vinh.

On the other hand, PVF-CAND urgently needs to strengthen their defense as defender Hiểu Minh suffered a serious injury and will be out for the rest of the season, leaving a significant gap in the backline. In response, the coaching staff quickly approached and reached an agreement to loan Lý Đức to reinforce squad depth.

Moving to PVF-CAND will certainly provide the 2003-born defender with more playing time, helping him gradually establish himself. It is noted that on the afternoon of February 25th, Lý Đức had his first training session with the new team.
