The moment that impressed Overy the most happened during a free-kick training session. He recalled: “The last time I trained with him, I got to take free kicks because the regular free-kick taker was injured.” Surprisingly, Bruno took the initiative to spend time guiding the younger player on every small detail, from foot placement to the exact point of contact with the ball.

Overy added: “I kept practicing free kicks, and then he came over and spent a whole hour teaching me each technique. He said, ‘This is how I do it, aiming for this spot, trying to make the ball dip or land exactly there.’ That really made me admire him a lot.” According to the young player, even during training sessions, Bruno consistently maintains high intensity and is one of the standout performers.

James Overy emphasized: “Even in training, he pushes everything forward and is one of the best players, along with Kobs (Kobbie Mainoo). Truly impressive.” These remarks partly explain why Bruno remains a central figure in the dressing room, despite a turbulent season for the Old Trafford team.
