According to The Mail, the somewhat rigid security guard immediately "invited" Jacey to leave the technical area for further verification. This unusual situation caused the young academy midfielder to leave the pitch amid the surprise of onlookers.

Fortunately, the misunderstanding was later resolved smoothly by the stadium officials. Jacey was finally allowed back to celebrate the victory with his father and the Manchester United players.

This minor incident cannot overshadow the strong revival of Man Utd under Carrick’s guidance since replacing Ruben Amorim. Currently, the Old Trafford side stands fourth in the league table, just 3 points behind third-placed Aston Villa.

The Red Devils' brilliant form has increased calls for the management to appoint Michael Carrick as the permanent head coach.
