The Vietnam women's futsal team achieved a 3-2 win against Bardral Urayasu Club (Japan) in a preparatory friendly before the 2026 Southeast Asian Futsal Championship.
On the evening of February 19 (the 3rd day of the Year of the Horse), the Vietnam women's futsal team played their second friendly match during their training camp in Japan, once again competing against Bardral Urayasu Club - the team that had previously defeated them 6-2 two days earlier.
After learning many lessons from the first loss, coach Nguyễn Đình Hoàng's players showed a more positive performance. The team played with discipline, improved coordination, and capitalized on opportunities better. As a result, the Vietnam women's futsal team won narrowly 3-2. The three goals were scored by Thu Xuân, Ánh Mỹ, and Vũ Thị Hoa.
With this result, coach Nguyễn Đình Hoàng's squad concluded their 5-day training camp in Japan with two highly valuable friendly matches. This was considered an important preparation step for the coaching staff to evaluate the team and finalize tactics before confirming the roster for the 2026 Southeast Asian Women's Futsal Championship.
According to the plan, the entire team will return to Ho Chi Minh City on February 20, then depart for Thailand on February 22.
