Last night saw four matches finish, with Chelsea drawing 2-2 against relegation-threatened Leeds United in an upset, Everton losing 1-2 to Bournemouth, Tottenham defeated 1-2 by Newcastle, and West Ham surprisingly conceding a late equalizer to Manchester United to finish 1-1. Caicedo’s foul gifted Leeds a penalty, which Eze converted to narrow the gap to 2-1. Leeds then intensified their counterattacks, and in a chaotic penalty area scramble, Okafor scored to equalize. In stoppage time, Chelsea missed a golden chance to win as Palmer shockingly missed an open goal. Ultimately, Chelsea suffered a surprise 2-2 draw with Leeds, a truly unfortunate result!

Tottenham versus Newcastle. Tottenham have struggled this season and are currently without a win in seven games. They faced Newcastle, who themselves had not won in five matches, both desperate to bounce back. The match started with end-to-end action, Newcastle pressing harder. Before halftime, they scored twice in four minutes, although Willock’s goal was disallowed. After some drama, Krafth scored on his second attempt to give Newcastle the lead. In the second half, Tottenham increased their attacking efforts, with Gray scoring from a teammate’s header to equalize. Unfortunately, just three minutes later, Ramsey capitalized on a chance to restore Newcastle’s lead. Tottenham ultimately lost 1-2, extending their winless streak to eight matches!

West Ham versus Manchester United. Manchester United have been impressive this season, defeating top two Arsenal and Manchester City, and recently securing four consecutive wins. Facing a desperate West Ham fighting relegation, United aimed for a fifth straight victory. The first half was dull with few chances and both teams failing to capitalize, ending 0-0, with United showing signs of fatigue. In the second half, attacks picked up, with West Ham striking first in the 50th minute when Souček scored from a scramble after a teammate’s pass. Manchester United pressed hard afterward; Casemiro’s header that would have equalized was disallowed. However, United didn’t give up and in the 96th minute, substitute Sheshko volleyed home from a teammate’s assist to snatch a dramatic equalizer. The match ended 1-1, extending United’s unbeaten run to nine games and solidifying their fourth place!
