At the WeChoice Awards Gala 2025, an event celebrating inspiring figures of the year, striker Nguyen Dinh Bac appeared representing Vietnam U23 after a remarkable 2025.
During the program, the 2004-born player had an engaging conversation with director and actor Truong Giang. According to reports, Truong Giang advised the younger athlete to limit his appearances at major events, as excessive media attention could sometimes affect his performance. In response, Dinh Bac modestly explained that he attended the ceremony on behalf of the whole team. After their discussion, both comfortably took commemorative photos and interacted with fans, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
At the same gala, Dinh Bac was named among the top 10 Inspirational Figures of the Year. When stepping on stage to receive the award, the young striker waved to the audience and reenacted the moment he scored from a free kick against U23 South Korea in the third-place match, along with his signature celebration that went viral during the 2026 U23 Asian Championship.
Outstanding achievements throughout 2025 made Dinh Bac the focus of media attention not only domestically but also regionally. Notably, the CAHN player surpassed many famous Vietnamese entertainment stars such as Son Tung M-TP and Tran Thanh to be included among the most influential figures of December 2025.
The year 2025 marked a significant breakthrough in Dinh Bac’s career as he established himself as one of the most prominent faces in Vietnamese football. The striker from Nghe An made a strong impact with the U23 Vietnam team, playing a key role in memorable successes including the U23 Southeast Asia championship, the gold medal at SEA Games 33, and third place at the 2026 U23 Asian Championship.
At the tournament held in Saudi Arabia, Dinh Bac showcased explosive performance by scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists. This achievement allowed him to surpass many renowned competitors to win the top scorer award, becoming the first Southeast Asian player to do so in a continental U23 competition.
His impressive displays earned Dinh Bac the 2025 Vietnam Silver Ball award, ranking just behind senior player Nguyen Hoang Duc. Additionally, the CAHN player contributed to the pursuit of 6 titles in Asian competitions, demonstrating his growing influence regionally and continentally.
