Several PVF players from the recent National U19 Finals are set to compete in the 2026 National Second Division.
The PVF club, primarily composed of players born in 2007 and 2008, has officially begun preparations for the 2026 National Second Division, which is scheduled to start in mid-March. This marks a significant milestone in the development path of PVF’s young talents, offering them the chance to gain experience in a professional, highly competitive football environment that demands strong mental resilience.
As part of the preparation process, PVF played their first friendly match against a strong opponent, PVF-CAND club, which competes in V.League 1. This match held great professional significance, allowing the coaching staff to realistically assess the players’ abilities, physical condition, and tactical adaptability against a higher-level team.
Although it was a friendly match, the game was played at a fast pace with serious and intense spirit. PVF players showed confidence in executing their playing style, adhered well to the game plan, and were unafraid of physical challenges against more experienced seniors. The two goals for PVF were scored by Bùi Duy Đăng and Hoàng Trọng Duy Khang, reflecting the team’s effort, proactive attitude, and ability to capitalize on opportunities.
Through this friendly, PVF’s coaching staff gained more basis to review the squad, adjust tactics, and finalize the team structure aimed at the 2026 National Second Division. More importantly, the young players accumulated valuable experiences, gradually maturing both professionally and mentally in competition.
In the near future, PVF will continue maintaining a high training intensity, combining it with more quality friendly matches to prepare optimally for the upcoming season, targeting confident, resilient performances that showcase the training identity of the PVF Center.
