Coach Mano Polking highly commended CAHN’s "B team" after the 6-1 triumph against Tampines Rovers.
CAHN bid a splendid farewell to the Shopee Cup 2025/26 with a resounding 6-1 win over Singapore’s Tampines Rovers. In the final match of Group A, Coach Mano Polking rested key players and gave opportunities to those who rarely played, including Minh Phúc, Lý Đức, Hoàng Văn Toản, and goalkeeper Vũ Thành Vinh.
After the match, the German-Brazilian strategist shared his thoughts:"I am pleased with how this game unfolded. We had an excellent match with many players who don’t usually get much playing time, and today they proved that we have a very strong squad.
However, if you think next week will be the same, then we will face a big problem. Next week is a completely different game, a whole different history," he added.
Meanwhile, striker Alan Grafite, who scored twice and was named the best player of the match, said:"I’m very happy and proud to always support the team. This means we have to keep this spirit because the next match will be very challenging, and we have overcome this one."
Following this game, CAHN will face Tampines Rovers two more times in the Round of 16 of the ACL Two 2025/26 (Asian Cup 2). Specifically, on February 11, the two teams will meet at Hàng Đẫy Stadium. Then on February 18 (the second day of Lunar New Year), CAHN will visit the opponent’s home ground.
To prepare for these matches, the club CAHN has requested to postpone their Round 13 V-League match against SHB Đà Nẵng scheduled for February 9.
