
On February 4th, Beijing time, the AFC official website published the official list of associations bidding for the 2031 and 2035 Asian Cups. The Chinese Football Association did not appear, while Australia, South Korea, and Kuwait have submitted bids for both editions.
The bidding process for the 2031 Asian Cup concluded last year and garnered extensive interest throughout Asia. The invitation for bids for the 2035 Asian Cup was issued on August 27, 2025, with the submission window closing on December 31, 2025. After the United Arab Emirates Football Association withdrew, the following associations remain as bidders for the 2031 Asian Cup:

A joint bid by Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan
AFC President Salman suggested announcing the hosts for both this Asian Cup and the 2035 edition at the same congress. The current list of bidders for the 2035 Asian Cup is as follows:

The AFC will engage with the bidding member associations according to the established timetable, regulations, and evaluation procedures, coordinating and receiving the required detailed bidding documents. The final hosting rights will be determined based on the AFC Executive Committee’s assessment and subsequent voting approval at the congress.
