Vietnamese team overwhelmingly defeats Chinese club 11-0

The opening match at the FT Cup 2026 saw the young Vietnamese team completely dominate the hosts, gaining a significant advantage in the group stage.

U13 PVF made a strong impression right from the first match of the FT Cup 2026 held in Guangdong, China. Against U13 Shunde Eastern (China), the Vietnamese side started proactively, playing at a fast pace and controlling the rhythm. Their confidence in short passes allowed them to quickly break down the opponent’s defense, establishing a one-sided game early on.

The dominant gameplay was quickly reflected in consecutive goals. Within the early minutes of the first half, U13 PVF secured a comfortable lead thanks to their versatile penetration into the penalty area. By halftime, the scoreline was large enough to show the difference in skill and intensity that the young Vietnamese team imposed on the hosts.

In the second half, U13 PVF maintained their attacking momentum. Shots from the second line helped the team extend their lead further, before continuing to exploit gaps to score more goals. Standout in the high-scoring win was Phạm Quang Khải with an outstanding scoring rate (7 goals), alongside contributions from Trần Văn Gia Hưng, Hoàng Mạnh Thái, and Phạm Tiến Lâm.

The team arrived early in China to adapt to the playing conditions, under the guidance of the coaching staff and team leader.
