Midfielder Trọng Bảo and fitness coach Carlos Pimentel have officially become members of the Thép Xanh Nam Định Club.
Recently, Nam Định Club announced its two latest signings to prepare for the second phase of the season: midfielder Nguyễn Trọng Bảo and fitness coach Carlos Pimentel. This move is essential to strengthen the squad as Nam Định still has to compete in the Southeast Asian Club Cup tournament.
Midfielder Nguyễn Trọng Bảo, born on January 4, 2004, from Hà Tĩnh, developed at the NutiFood Academy. Before joining Thép Xanh Nam Định, he played in V.League 2 for teams such as Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu, Gia Định, and Xuân Thiện Phú Thọ... He is the player who scored the very first goal in the history of the newly established Xuân Thiện Phú Thọ Club this season.
Fitness coach Carlos Pimentel, born on July 17, 1973, is Brazilian. Not only has he worked many years in his home country, but he also has extensive experience in Asia, having worked with Japanese clubs Vissel Kobe and Kashiwa.
Recently, Thép Xanh Nam Định completed the final procedures to register midfielder Arnaud Lusamba for the second phase of the 2025/26 V-League. The Congolese player will replace foreign player Njabulo Blom, who cannot play for Nam Định due to injury.
Arnaud Lusamba joined Thép Xanh Nam Định on a free transfer on October 7, 2025. Although he has been training with the Nam Định team recently, the midfielder born in 1997 can only officially compete from the second phase of the V-League due to foreign player registration limits in the first half.
Thép Xanh Nam Định’s choice of Lusamba to replace Blom demonstrates their determination to strengthen the midfield during the crucial stage of the season. With his rich experience and strong physical condition, Lusamba is expected to quickly become a key player, helping the Nam Định team maintain their ambitions in both the V-League and international competitions.
