Tomorrow (February 4), Hanoi Police Club will host Tampines Rovers FC at Hàng Đẫy Stadium as part of the Shoppe Cup 2025/26 group stage. Following their defeat against Selangor FC in the previous round, the Vietnamese representative, Hanoi Police Club, will welcome Tampines Rovers FC (Singapore) at home in Hàng Đẫy on February 4.

In the pre-match press conference, Hanoi Police Club head coach Mano Polking stated, compared to last season’s Shoppe Cup, Hanoi Police did not perform as expected, being eliminated early in the group stage. However, as representatives of Vietnamese football in the regional arena, the entire team will strive to give their best and deliver the best possible results for their fans.

On the other side, Tampines Rovers FC assistant coach Robret Eziakor said the team’s goal for the upcoming match is to give their all, control the game for the full 90 minutes, and secure a victory.

The visiting coaching staff also affirmed that the team will focus all their energy on the next match to achieve the best outcome before considering the two AFC CL2 games: “We don’t pay too much attention to revealing tactics or thinking about the next match; we just concentrate on playing our best tomorrow to win.”

Additionally, assistant coach Robert emphasized that not only Đình Bắc, but Hanoi Police also has many good and dangerous players. As a high-quality Vietnamese team, Tampines Rovers will not focus on any single player.

After the match against Tampines Rovers FC in the Shoppe Cup, Hanoi Police will face the Singaporean representative again in two AFC CL2 matches on February 11 and 18. Regarding AFC CL2, coach Polking confirmed that this competition is more important, but Hanoi Police will not underperform in tomorrow’s match. The coaching staff and the whole team remain serious, giving their all, and aiming for the best possible results.
