Hai My’s wife provides the latest update on Doan Van Hau’s condition after his injury

On her personal page, Doan Hai My posted an encouraging image of Doan Van Hau after his injury in the CAHN vs Ninh Binh game on the night of February 1st.

The intense clash between CAHN and Ninh Binh in the 12th round of the V-League on February 1st was filled with dramatic moments, including two occasions when stretchers were needed to carry Vietnamese national team players off due to injuries.

In the 56th minute, defender Doan Van Hau suddenly collapsed on the field after a heavy collision. He immediately signaled for a substitution and had to be carried off the pitch on a stretcher. The 1999-born defender showed great pain, causing concern among the entire CAHN coaching staff and many fans at Hang Day Stadium.

At this moment, Van Hau’s wife, Doan Hai My, eased fans’ worries. On her personal social media, Hai My posted a photo of Van Hau resting at home. In the picture, Van Hau smiled brightly and gave a thumbs-up. It seems his condition is not too serious. In fact, right after the match ended, Van Hau was able to walk normally on the field.

This was Van Hau’s first V-League match after more than two years away due to injury. Although just returning, the 1999-born defender delivered a very impressive performance with fierce and strong spirit.

After the game, CAHN assistant coach Pham Thanh Luong said: "As you know, Van Hau has returned to playing after a long time, and this was his third match since his comeback from injury. Van Hau’s performance today was excellent; he is gradually regaining his form and the level he once had.
