Lucao admitted he carried many emotions returning to Lach Tray, a place that witnessed memorable years in his V-League career. However, the 1991-born forward still demonstrated the professionalism of an experienced player. “I have many feelings coming back here, but in the end, my team tried their best to secure the win and earn 3 points today,” Lucao emphasized.

Regarding how his experience playing for Hai Phong helped in this match, Lucao said his time with the coastal team gave him a clear understanding of the opponent’s playing style. “The experience I gained here taught me that Hai Phong is a very disciplined team, always strictly following the coach’s tactics,” Lucao explained.

According to the Viettel striker, the home team posed significant challenges throughout the 90 minutes. “There were moments during the game when our team faced many difficulties against Hai Phong. Coach Chu Dinh Nghiem read the situation quickly, which created many challenges for us playing here,” he added, also showing respect for the coaching staff and the playing style of his former club.
