When asked about the secret behind Nam Định’s impressive performance at the regional level, the 1991-born goalkeeper openly acknowledged the team’s challenging path. “During the past season, there were times when the team’s form was not at its best, but the players showed great spirit and strong determination. Additionally, the coaching staff and management set a very clear goal at the ASEAN Club Championship to advance deep into the tournament,” Nguyên Mạnh shared.

According to Nam Định’s captain, the unity from the top management down to the players is the key factor that helped the team maintain stability and resilience during critical moments. “This is a shared objective for the entire team. Everyone is always united, stepping onto the field with a strong desire to win to repay Nam Định’s supporters,”he emphasized.
