The world No. 1 cried after the dream of winning the Australian Open 3 consecutive championships was shattered! Sabalenka's towel covered her face and wept as she went straight back to the locker room

In the Australian Open women's singles final that ended on January 25, Beijing time, the No. 19 seed and American star Keys defeated the top seed Sabalenka 2-1 after three sets and won the Grand Slam championship for the first time in her career. Defending champion Sabalenka missed the Australian Open for three consecutive championships.

After winning the last one point, the 29-year-old Keys cried tears of joy and rushed to her husband on the sidelines to hug and cry excitedly. Keys finally made up for the US Open semi-finals two years ago, when she won the first set and was reversed by Sabalenka in two sets in a row.

Sabalenka also cried, she covered her head with a towel and cried secretly, and then the active world No. 1 who had an emotional breakdown and went straight back to the locker room.

Sabalenka's frustration is understandable, as she didn't have a bad run in the final, winning the first set and equalising the second set and the deciding set, before she was broken under pressure in the 12th game and lost the title. In the final, Sabalenka has done her best, but Keys is to blame for the amazing performance of this Australian Open.

Sabalenka's 20-game winning streak at the Australian Open came to an end, and she missed out on her three-game winning streak, and the number of Grand Slam titles remained at three. However, the Australian Open runner-up is enough for Sabalenka to retain the current world No. 1 position.
