Garnacho is suspected of saying goodbye to the Theater of Dreams, and the reason why Manchester United wants to sell him is exposed! A budget of 200 million yuan will be available to help rebuild

Manchester United are reportedly considering selling Alejandro Garnacho this month as it would give new boss Ruben Amorim a big transfer budget that could help revamp his squad. Garnacho has been rumoured to be the target of a transfer battle between Chelsea and Napoli, but no substantial progress has yet been made.

Manchester United are rumoured to demand at least £60 million from Chelsea to acquire the 20-year-old Argentine winger. In the case of Napoli, it can be reduced to 55 million euros, as the two teams have recently had a deal for McTominay, and Osimhen may also be involved in a transfer in the future.

Napoli have made two bids on Garnacho, but they have not yet met United's requirements. Another reason United are believed to be willing to sell the Argentine to Napoli for a slightly lower price is that they are not direct competitors to the top four in the Premier League like Chelsea.

Antonio Conte is pushing Napoli to sign Garnacho as a replacement for winger Kvaratskhelia who moved to Paris Saint-Germain. Chelsea's search for a new winger in the market comes amid uncertainty about Mudryk's future, with the Ukrainian winger temporarily suspended due to a drug test issue awaiting the results of the B-bottle sample.

Sky Sports reports that Manchester United would completely eliminate the financial problems surrounding the Premier League's PSR profitability and sustainability rules if they can sell Garnacho for £60 million. Amorim is on a tight budget this month due to PSR concerns, as Ten Hag has already spent £200 million in the summer window.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS have tried to purge the likes of Marcus Rashford, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Antony, but none of them will be able to make a permanent move, with Garnacho being United's easiest asset to sell at the moment.

If Garnacho moves at a high price, the Red Devils will be able to secure £180 million (€213 million) without breaking any rules. The transfer budget of 180 million pounds is enough to strengthen Manchester United's two weak positions: left-back and centre-forward.

For example, Amorim will have the money to bring in his Sporting striker Djekereish for a contract break of €75 million (£64m). The 26-year-old striker has scored 33 goals in 31 games this season. At the same time, United could also sign Lecce left wing-back Patrick Dolgu, with Italy's Roma Sport newspaper claiming that the Red Devils have agreed a personal deal with the player's agent and only need to reach an agreement with Lecce on a transfer fee to complete the deal.

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes doesn't mind the club selling Garnacho and he appreciates another Academy youngster, Kobe Maynor. "If they sell Garnacho, I wouldn't be scared or worried. But Meno, I would oppose the sale." Scholes said: 'Garnacho is absolutely capable, there's no doubt about it, but it's not easy to find his place in this team.

From Garnacho's point of view, the Argentine winger, who idolized Cristiano Ronaldo, had no intention of transferring, and he only renewed his contract with Manchester United in 2023, however, Amorim's 343 tactics changed his fortunes. The 39-year-old Portuguese coach needs wing-backs and midfielders more than traditional wingers. Not only did Garnacho struggle to find his place in the system, but he was also dropped out of the Manchester derby due to attitude issues. Garnacho only started twice after that game, which made him rethink his future options.

Garnacho likes to break through with the ball and hit directly, but Amorim is more tactical, requiring a lot of running and defending, and "talkSPORT radio" says that Garnacho does not think he is suitable for the new manager's style of play, so he is now willing to leave Manchester United. United are not actively seeking to sell Garnacho, but the player's concerns about his role at Old Trafford have opened the door for a transfer in January. While this is agent-driven, United are happy to accept it as long as the price is right.

Garnacho waved to Old Trafford fans after Manchester United's 2-1 Europa League win over Rangers. If he leaves the team in the winter window, it will be his farewell match at the Theater of Dreams. Asked if it was Garnacho's farewell performance, Amorim replied: "No, I'm focused on the game, he's still here, he's a Manchester United player. Today is really important to us, and we'll see what happens in the coming days. I think he's improving in all aspects of the game, playing better in the middle today, and the same is true on the wings, changing positions and his ability to chase back is improving. You can see that until the 90 minutes he was always there to defend and help and sometimes show a bit of frustration and that's good because he wants more. I think he has the potential to get better in any situation in the game. What I can say is that he understands what I want to do and knows very well that I just want to help them, but in the end it's up to them to do the work."
