On December 23rd afternoon, the event unveiling the main sponsor and the scheduling draw for the National U19 Women’s Football Championship – ACECOOK Cup 2026 was held at the Vietnam Football Federation’s office.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyễn Văn Phú – General Secretary of the VFF; Mr. Nguyễn Minh Châu – Deputy General Secretary of the VFF; Ms. Nguyễn Thanh Hà – Deputy General Secretary of the VFF and Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Nguyễn Đức Mẫn – Head of Marketing Department at Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company, alongside representatives from VFF’s functional departments and affiliated units.
The year 2026 marks the third consecutive year that the Vietnam Football Federation has partnered with ACECOOK Vietnam Joint Stock Company to organize the National U19 Women’s Football Championship. The VFF is delighted that ACECOOK Vietnam – a long-standing supporter of Vietnamese football in general and the national teams in particular – continues to commit as the main sponsor of the tournament. This partnership also reflects ACECOOK Vietnam’s social responsibility and sustained interest in the development of women’s football in Vietnam, especially youth training, which is a crucial factor for the sport’s sustainable future.
Mr. Nguyễn Văn Phú, General Secretary of the VFF, emphasized: “In recent years, Vietnamese women’s football has achieved notable successes in regional and continental competitions. In 2025 alone, three Vietnamese women’s teams – U17, U20, and the senior national team – all qualified for the 2026 Asian Championship finals.
These positive results highlight the vital role of the women’s football competitions organized by the VFF, including the National U19 Championship. After 18 years of running, originally known as the National U18 Women’s Championship, the tournament has served not only as a valuable competitive platform but also as a comprehensive training ground for young female players to develop their skills, resilience, discipline, teamwork, and passion for contribution. Through this competition, many promising talents have been discovered, nurtured, and gradually matured, contributing to clubs and national teams.
The VFF always considers improving the quality of youth tournaments, especially women’s football, as a key priority. With thorough preparation and the support of the main sponsor – ACECOOK Vietnam Joint Stock Company, the VFF is confident that the National U19 Women’s Football Championship – ACECOOK Cup 2026 will continue to deliver exciting, competitive matches, enhancing the professional standard and promoting a positive image of Vietnamese women’s football.”
Mr. Nguyễn Đức Mẫn – Head of Marketing at Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company expressed confidence: “Through our sponsorship and sports partnership activities, Acecook Vietnam aims to inspire Vietnamese football, especially women’s football – where the spirit of perseverance, ambition, and national pride is clearly demonstrated. We hope Vietnamese women’s football will maintain its strong growth momentum, continuously affirm its position in regional and international arenas, become a positive motivation for the younger generation, and continue making steady progress for the future of our national football.”
The tournament will run from January 7 to February 7, 2026, featuring a double round-robin format in Hanoi and Ninh Bình. Five teams will participate: Hanoi, Phong Phú Hà Nam, Than KSVN, Thái Nguyên T&T, and Ho Chi Minh City.
