FIFA confirms good news for Cristiano Ronaldo

Al Nassr has just received important news from FIFA, creating a chance for the team to reinforce its lineup to aid Cristiano Ronaldo in the forthcoming transfer period.

Recently, Al Nassr faced some disappointing news ahead of the new season, when the club almost could not operate in the transfer market and was limited in its ability to strengthen the squad around Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia.

However, the situation changed after FIFA provided clarification. According to Fabrizio Romano, FIFA officially confirmed that Al Nassr did not violate any regulations, affirming that the club is now fully compliant with the rules and once again eligible to register new players.

The player registration ban previously imposed on the Saudi Pro League club has been permanently lifted, and the case is closed. This ban originated from an unresolved financial dispute related to a past transfer deal, which prevented Al Nassr from registering new players despite active market participation.

The issue has been completely resolved as the club met all FIFA requirements, removing all remaining restrictions. This decision is a significant boost, allowing Al Nassr to proceed with its sporting plans and player acquisitions ahead of 2026, as well as operate normally in future transfer windows.

Al Nassr is expected to compete in the 2025/26 AFC Champions League against Al Zawraa SC. Ronaldo is unlikely to play in this match and is predicted to return for the Saudi Pro League game against Al Okhdood Club.

While waiting to rejoin the domestic league, Ronaldo still has reason to celebrate the club’s success. Although he has yet to win an official title with the men’s team, the Portuguese superstar congratulated Al Nassr’s women’s team on their victory.

Al Nassr’s women’s team won the Women’s Premier Challenge Cup by defeating Al Ahli 2–0 in the final, bringing home the trophy and attracting attention throughout the organization.

Ronaldo acknowledged this achievement on social media by posting clapping emojis on his official X account. The club also thanked him for his continuous support, while CR7 remains focused on achieving his first official title with Al Nassr, a goal now more attainable with the transfer restrictions lifted.
