Compared to the previous release, Vietnam’s ranking has significantly improved, reflecting positive recent results. In particular, the 2-0 victory over Laos in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers earned Vietnam valuable points in the FIFA ranking.
This 3-place rise not only strengthens Vietnam’s position within Asia but also lays a solid foundation for upcoming goals on the international stage. Currently, Vietnam remains among the teams with stable rankings on the continent.
In Asia, the top three teams in the current FIFA rankings remain unchanged: Japan (18th in the world), Iran (20th), and South Korea (22nd).
The new ranking acknowledges the team’s efforts in competition and preparation, while also bringing optimism to Vietnamese football fans for the road ahead.
