Coach Kim Sang Sik has revealed the Vietnam U23 team roster assembling to get ready for the 2026 AFC U23 Championship finals. It is expected that the backbone of the team is the 23 players who recently secured the gold medal in men’s football at SEA Games 33.

Besides the squad that has proven their ability and fighting spirit during the journey to win the SEA Games 33 gold medal, this call-up list includes two familiar players: defender Lê Văn Hà (Hanoi) and forward Bùi Vĩ Hào (Becamex TP.HCM).
