Coach Arne Slot confessed that Liverpool is nervously waiting for updates on the condition of both Alexander Isak and Conor Bradley, after the two players were forced off during the 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur. Isak was brought on at the start of the second half to replace Bradley, the Northern Irish player who tried to continue playing despite injury from a clash with Djed Spence.

It was Isak who opened the scoring for the reigning champions of the English Premier League in the 56th minute with a precise finish after a clever through ball from Florian Wirtz.
