This afternoon (20/12), the Football Association of Thailand (FAT) extended thanks to Mr. Miguel Rodrigo, head coach of the Thai men's futsal team, for his sacrifice, dedication, determination, and wholehearted effort throughout his tenure.
Following a 1-6 defeat to Indonesia in the decisive match for the men's futsal gold medal at SEA Games 33, the coach decided to step down from his position and officially end his professional coaching career.
"The Football Association of Thailand wishes Miguel Rodrigo and his family enduring happiness. After this moment, the Futsal and Beach Soccer Development Committee will begin reviewing and selecting a new head coach to best fulfill the role in the near future," said the FAT statement.
Miguel Rodrigo announced his departure from the head coach position of the Thai futsal team, officially ending his professional coaching career.

Coach Miguel Rodrigo shared: "Yesterday was an extremely special day for me, and I want to share this with everyone. The SEA Games match yesterday was my final game as a professional futsal coach.
It was a very special day because it marked my permanent farewell to coaching, in the country I love with all my heart and which will always remain in my heart forever.
