Vietnam women's futsal team proudly returns home with the gold medal from SEA Games 33.

The Vietnam women's futsal team returned home this afternoon on December 19 after a successful campaign at SEA Games 33, finishing the tournament by winning a historic Gold Medal — the first-ever for Vietnam women's futsal at a Southeast Asian Games.

The women's futsal team split into two groups returning to Vietnam. The first group of 17 members landed at Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) at 16:05. The remaining 4 members, including head coach Nguyễn Đình Hoàng, arrived at Noi Bai Airport at 17:50 the same day, officially concluding their successful SEA Games 33 campaign.

In this year's tournament, the Vietnam women's futsal team showed stable form and strong determination throughout all matches. In the group stage, they consecutively won against Indonesia and Myanmar, thereby earning a spot in the semifinals.
