The last two matches of round 11 in V.League 1-2025/2026 took place on the evening of November 10th. Reigning champions Thep Xanh Nam Dinh disappointed their fans again after a 1-1 draw with visiting Hanoi Club. Despite scoring early through Lucas Alves (7th minute), the players’ lack of confidence prevented them from holding the lead. In the 31st minute, Xuan Manh equalized for the visitors. The team, which was outstanding throughout the 2024/2025 season with a well-deserved championship, is now in a rather “dire” state. They have only won 2 matches, drawn 4, and lost 4 after 10 games, earning 10 points and sitting 10th in the standings.

At Hang Day Stadium, the match between hosts Hanoi Police and Hong Linh Ha Tinh ended with a convincing 3-0 victory for the police team. With this 3-point gain, Hanoi Police solidified their second place on the table with 24 points, 3 points ahead of third-placed Hai Phong, confidently competing for the championship with 2 matches remaining. Alongside league leaders Ninh Binh, Hanoi Police is also unbeaten this season (7 wins, 2 draws).

Earlier, in the first match of round 11 on November 8th, PVF-CAND Club failed to capitalize on home advantage and had to share points with visitors The Cong Viettel in a 2-2 draw. After 11 rounds, the newly promoted police team is still struggling near the bottom of the table, with an unimpressive record (1 win, 5 draws, 5 losses).

On the second day of round 11 (November 9th), four matches took place. At Thong Nhat Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City Police hosted league leaders Ninh Binh. A win would have given them a chance to break into the top 3. Despite conceding early in the 9th minute from a shot by Hai Duc of the visitors, coach Huynh Duc’s team quickly equalized at the 12th minute through Viet Hoang and took the lead with two goals scored at the 19th (Williams) and 45+1 minutes (Duc Phu).

Facing adversity, Ninh Binh Club showed great resilience with an exciting comeback at Thong Nhat Stadium. The match exploded when, shortly after falling behind, Hoang Duc scored at 45+2 minutes to reduce the deficit to 2-3. In the second half, at the 50th minute, Ninh Binh equalized 3-3 thanks to Gustavo Henrique. Ho Chi Minh City Police had some chances but failed to convert. In the 89th minute, Quang Hung scored an own goal, sealing a 4-3 victory for visiting Ninh Binh.

This impressive unbeaten streak (8 wins, 3 draws) under coach Gerard Albadalejo has strengthened Ninh Binh’s hold on the top of the standings. With 27 points, they currently lead by 7 points over the chasing group including Hanoi Police and Hai Phong, and by 8 points (27 to 19) over another strong contender, The Cong – Viettel.

Also in the top 3, Hai Phong Club has demonstrated strong determination by securing impressive wins in recent rounds. Although they lost to Becamex Ho Chi Minh City in round 10, they quickly bounced back with a 3-1 victory over SHB Da Nang in this round.

In the relegation battle, Song Lam Nghe An Club achieved a crucial win against Becamex Ho Chi Minh City, moving up to 9th place in the standings with 10 points.

Hoang Anh Gia Lai and Dong A Thanh Hoa drew in a dramatic 1-1 match at Pleiku Stadium. The bottom group remains highly unpredictable and intense, as the point gap between the last-placed team and mid-table teams is only 3-4 points...

After round 11, teams will have an extended break of over one month. Round 12 matches of V.League 1-2025/2026 will resume on January 30, 31, and February 1, 2026. Before that, Hanoi Police will play a postponed round 4 match against Hoang Anh Gia Lai on December 18.
