The France U21 international delivered a confident and authoritative displayin Sunday’s 0-0 draw.
"I'm pleased because I contributed to the team today," Canvot said to the club’s website.
"We didn’t get the win, but it was a solid game. It was a great derby. We just played our usual style, so yes, I’m happy.
"And a clean sheet! As a defender, scoring isn’t my main job, but that was positive. Everyone performed amazingly. (Mitchell) was excellent as well, yeah.
"I hope to get many more starts after this, you know. I’m a competitor, a footballer, so I want to play as many games as possible. So yes, I just want to play every time and support the team."
