Vietnam U23 Star Speaks Out After Being Nominated for the 2025 Golden Ball

Thanh Nhàn confirms that his nomination for the 2025 Golden Ball serves as an incentive for him to continue working hard.

On November 6, Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper released the list of nominees for the Vietnam Golden Ball Awards 2025. In the category of the men's Golden Ball this year, many young players from the U23 generation have been included, among them is striker Nguyen Thanh Nhàn from PVF-CAND Club.

Sharing his feelings about this honor, Thanh Nhàn emphasized that it is a driving force for him to try even harder: "Being part of the Golden Ball nominees is truly valuable. It is a stepping stone and motivation for me to maintain my form and advance further in the journey ahead.

I am still a young player with many areas to improve, especially in skills and competitive spirit," Thanh Nhàn shared.

In 2025, the number 11 of PVF-CAND Club has continuously participated in many important tournaments with the Vietnam U23 team, significantly contributing to their success in passing the AFC U23 qualifiers. By October, he was also one of eight young players promoted by coach Kim Sang Sik to the Vietnam national team.

Coming up, Thanh Nhàn will join the Vietnam U22 team for training in China, preparing for SEA Games 33. However, before that, he will play with his club PVF-CAND in the 11th round of the V-League against The Cong Viettel.

After PVF-CAND experienced a series of results below expectations, striker Nguyen Thanh Nhàn admitted that he and his teammates have learned and gained a lot of experience:

"After the recent matches with unsatisfactory results, we have learned a great deal both technically and mentally. After each disappointing game, the whole team needs to lift their spirits to keep pushing harder and be more determined in the upcoming matches.

We have also reflected, corrected our shortcomings. Together, we hold hands to overcome difficulties and strive for better results."
