Amorim has told Manchester United that to challenge for a top-four finish this winter transfer window, they must sign a midfielder! He hopes to renew contracts with the two veterans, and Cunha supports this.

An insider at Manchester United revealed that Ruben Amorim has informed the club’s leadership that if they want to secure a top-four spot this season, they need to bring in a quality midfielder during the January transfer window. However, one of United’s concerns is the midfield position. Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes have recently performed well, but their substitutes are considered by Amorim to be lacking in quality. Amorim also expressed his desire for Casemiro and Harry Maguire to remain at Manchester United after this season.
