The main focus of Premier League Round 11 lies in the two big matches: Tottenham vs MU and Man City vs Liverpool. Meanwhile, Arsenal has a golden chance to extend their lead.

The centerpiece of Premier League Round 11 this weekend is definitely the epic duel between Man City and Liverpool at Etihad Stadium. Although it’s not yet the “final” of the title race, the outcome will reveal which team can truly challenge Arsenal, who currently lead the table with 25 points from 10 matches.
Both giants have prepared well. In Round 10, Man City and Liverpool defeated Bournemouth and Aston Villa respectively, then both secured wins in their midweek Champions League matches. However, overall, there are still notable differences in their form.
Man City, despite sitting second with 19 points, have been inconsistent, losing 3 times in 10 games. Liverpool is regaining confidence after a streak of 4 consecutive losses early in the season. Last season, The Reds won both league encounters against The Citizens, and in their last 8 Premier League meetings, they lost only once (3 wins, 4 draws, 1 loss), clearly a major obstacle for Pep Guardiola.
Still, Etihad remains Man City’s impregnable fortress. They have won all their last 4 home games, scoring 13 goals and conceding only 2. With Erling Haaland in brilliant form, Pep has every reason to expect a favorable result.
The battle at Etihad could benefit Arsenal if Mikel Arteta’s team accomplishes their task at Sunderland’s ground. Although Sunderland are newcomers this season, their 4th place with 18 points marks them as an exciting surprise in the 2025/26 Premier League.
Sunderland show a balanced style between attack and defense, but clearly cannot match a team like Arsenal, who have won 10 consecutive matches across all competitions. In their last 8 games, the Gunners have kept a clean sheet, demonstrating the solidity and resilience of the leading title contender.
Another hot spot is the clash between Tottenham and Manchester United. Spurs recently lost to Chelsea and dropped to 6th place, while the Red Devils drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest. Notably, MU has not beaten Tottenham in their last 7 meetings (2 draws, 5 losses). However, the opportunity is open for Ruben Amorim’s side as Spurs have performed poorly at home this season (only 1 win in 5 matches).
MU’s advantage is having a full week of rest while Tottenham had to split focus with Champions League matches. A victory for the Red Devils would boost their momentum in the race for the top 4.
At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea have a chance to claim all 3 points against Wolves, who sit last with only 2 points and recently dismissed coach Vítor Pereira. Last season, The Blues crushed Wolves in both encounters, scoring a total of 9 goals. Another win could help Enzo Maresca’s team break into the top 4 if Tottenham or MU slip up.
