MU secures the two most prestigious Premier League awards of the month

October concluded with complete happiness for Manchester United as they remarkably won both "Player of the Month" and "Manager of the Month" titles in the Premier League.

New signing Bryan Mbeumo was honored as the Player of the Month, while coach Ruben Amorim took home the Manager of the Month award for October, highlighting the "Red Devils'" outstanding form recently.

Joining Manchester United from Brentford during the summer transfer window, Bryan Mbeumo quickly became an indispensable figure in coach Ruben Amorim's attacking strategy. The Cameroonian striker had a brilliant October, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist in just 3 matches.

Mbeumo contributed to all three of MU's wins: assisting in the 2-0 victory over Sunderland, scoring the opening goal in the 2-1 triumph at Anfield against Liverpool, and shining with a brace in the big win against Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford.

Thanks to his impressive performance, Mbeumo surpassed strong contenders like Erling Haaland (Man City), Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle), and Matty Cash (Aston Villa) to win the Premier League Player of the Month award for the first time in his career. He also became the second Cameroonian player ever to receive this honor, following Joel Matip (Liverpool) in February 2022.

Not only Mbeumo, but coach Ruben Amorimwas also recognized as the Manager of the Month for October after leading Manchester United to a perfect 9 points from three matches. Under the Portuguese strategist’s guidance, the "Red Devils" showcased fast, cohesive, and effective pressing play, restoring fans' faith in the team.

Amorim triumphed over notable names such as Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Unai Emery (Aston Villa), and Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth) to claim the prize. After receiving the award, Amorim humbly stated that this victory was a collective effort:

“I am very happy, but this joy belongs to the players and the coaching staff. A manager can only win this award when his team performs well and wins. I hope we continue to maintain this form and secure more victories.”

Notably, Ruben Amorim became the sixth Portuguese manager in history to win this award, following renowned compatriots like Jose Mourinho, Nuno Santo, and Andre Villas-Boas. He is also the first Manchester United coach to receive this honor since Erik ten Hag in November 2023.

With this personal double award in October, Manchester United demonstrates they are steadily reclaiming their status as a Premier League powerhouse. Three consecutive wins, increasingly cohesive play, and fiery fighting spirit are proof of the revival under Ruben Amorim.

If they maintain this level, MU can confidently aim for a Champions League qualification spot, a goal eagerly anticipated by fans during Amorim’s first season at Old Trafford.
