'Elbow King' denies rumors of conflict with teammates on Thailand National Team

Theerathon clarified that he has never had any issues with Jonathan Khemdee.

Theerathon Bunmathan stated on social media that he has never had any disputes with Jonathan Khemdee, contrary to rumors circulating for years. He also emphasized that they can collaborate anytime and hopes to end the controversy as he prepares to join the Thailand national team under Anthony Hudson for the FIFA matchday this November.

The left-back of the Thailand national team, Theerathon Bunmathan, recently posted on social media to clarify the long-standing rumors that he had conflicts with Ratchaburi FC defender Jonathan Khemdee. He affirmed that this is false and that he has never had any personal disagreements.

Theerathon stated he never said there was any conflict or disagreement with the young player, and previously remained silent because he believed the matter was not serious. However, when the conversation was distorted and negatively impacted his image, he decided to speak out.

"Jonathan Khemdee and I have never had any problems," Theerathon said. "I have never said I dislike him, nor do I hate him. We have never had any issues. If there is any proof that I said otherwise, please present it. I can work with everyone, including Jonathan Khemdee."

Meanwhile, Theerathon revealed that he wants to focus on his duties with the Thailand national team, but since rumors continue, he hopes this will finally put an end to the matter. After more than a year away, Theerathon Bunmathan has returned to the Thailand squad.

For Theerathon Bunmathan, the veteran player has been named in the 23-man squad of Thailand under new coach Anthony Hudson, preparing for a friendly match against Singapore and the fifth round of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers against Sri Lanka on November 13 and 18, 2025.
