VFF collaborates to aid the people of Central Vietnam and some provinces and cities heavily impacted by natural disasters and flooding.
On the afternoon of November 5th, Secretary General Nguyễn Văn Phú, representing the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), was present at the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to deliver contributions and join efforts to support the people in Central Vietnam and other provinces and cities severely affected by natural disasters and floods.
In recent days, residents in Central Vietnam and several provinces/cities have been struggling against natural disasters and floods, causing serious damage to lives and property. Embracing the spirit of “mutual support” and “the strong help the weak,” the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) collective – with the support of the Executive Committee and all staff and employees – voluntarily contributed one day’s salary from October 2025 to join hands in aiding Central Vietnam and the provinces/cities severely affected by natural disasters.
Mr. Nguyễn Văn Phú – Secretary General of VFF shared: “Witnessing the damages and losses that the people of Central Vietnam and several provinces and cities are enduring due to natural disasters, VFF wishes to contribute and share some of the difficulties with them.
Though this contribution may not be large materially, it embodies the heartfelt sincerity and affection of all leaders, the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and VFF employees – those who always stand with the people in times of hardship, reflecting the spirit of ‘mutual support’ and ‘the strong help the weak’ within the Vietnamese football community.
Through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front – a trusted address of the people – we believe this support will reach the right places and people in need, helping to spread the spirit of solidarity and sharing within the community.”
Representing the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, Mr. Cao Xuân Thạo – Head of Social Affairs, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front – expressed gratitude to the Vietnam Football Federation, coaches, and players who have actively participated in meaningful charitable activities recently. He emphasized that these contributions demonstrate the responsibility, sharing spirit, and connection of Vietnamese football with the community.
This practical action once again demonstrates the solidarity, compassion, and social responsibility of the Vietnam Football Federation collective – those who not only strive for the development of national football but also always accompany and share with the community during the toughest times.
