Coach Mano Polking and CAHN club focus on achieving the best result in the upcoming rematch with Macarthur FC on November 6th.
At 2:45 PM today, November 6th, CAHN club will face Macarthur FC again in the Round 4 of the AFC Champions League Two.
At the pre-match press conference, Coach Polking expressed his determination to maintain the top position they have secured: "Even though we have to play away under different conditions, I believe the whole team is ready. We are fully focused on competing, performing well, and protecting our lead. A positive result tomorrow will be a significant step towards advancing to the next round."
In the first leg at Hang Day Stadium on October 23rd, the police-affiliated team had the advantage but unfortunately conceded a late equalizer. On this, Coach Polking said:
"We were truly disappointed to concede a goal in the final minutes of the first leg against Macarthur. We played well at home, but that’s football. If you lose concentration, especially during set pieces—which are Macarthur’s strength as a physically strong team—you will pay the price."
Regarding tactical personnel use, Mr. Polking stated: "It’s not easy for CAHN club as this is the first time we are competing in two international tournaments alongside domestic leagues. However, from the start of the season, we believed CAHN has squad depth. We have good players for rotation and substitutions.
In international competitions, we use many foreign players. This means more new faces get playing time compared to only three foreign players allowed in the V-League. Therefore, we have more options. This is both an advantage and a challenge because some players have limited time playing together with the whole team."
Finally, the German-Brazilian strategist expressed concern about CAHN’s constant travel for matches. According to him, this is a major challenge, especially for players who must appear in every game. However, Coach Polking affirmed that the whole team has anticipated this and is determined to achieve all set goals.
