On his debut for Ninh Binh Club, young striker Nguyen Le Phat delivered an impressive performance by assisting a teammate’s goal.
On the evening of November 5th, Ninh Binh Club narrowly defeated SLNA 1-0 in the early match of V-League Round 10. Notably, in this encounter, young forward Nguyen Le Phat officially made his first appearance wearing the ancient capital club’s jersey.
Substituted in during the second half, Le Phat injected fresh energy into Ninh Binh’s attack amid a deadlocked game. He delivered a precise cross that allowed national player Pham Gia Hung to charge in and score the match’s only goal.
Born in 2007, Le Phat is a product of the PVF academy and has been loaned to Ninh Binh this season. Despite his youth, the midfielder, who is part of Vietnam’s U23 squad, made a memorable V-League debut for the ancient capital team.
After the match, Ninh Binh’s head coach Gerard Albadalejo praised the young player. He said: "I told Le Phat earlier that he should be ready because today he would get a chance. This morning, we confirmed with him that he would definitely enter the field in the second half. He played calmly, naturally, and enjoyed the game. He is one of Vietnam’s young football talents with great potential to develop.”
A strong start will boost the young striker’s motivation and confidence for future opportunities. Especially if he continues to impress, Le Phat is sure to be given a chance by coach Kim Sang Sik at the upcoming SEA Games 33.
