Inter Milan went through a nerve-wracking challenge against Kazakhstan’s Kairat, yet they managed to claim 3 points and keep their unbeaten run intact in this Champions League campaign.

In the early hours of November 6 (Vietnam time), Inter Milan hosted Kairat Almaty at home in the 4th matchday of the group stage of the 2025/26 Champions League. Before this match, Inter Milan had won all 3 games this season, scoring 9 goals without conceding any.

This dominance seemed set to continue as the Serie A side started the game with enthusiasm. However, Lautaro Martínez missed several clear chances, including a shot blocked right on the goal line, leaving the home team struggling to break through the opposition’s defense.

The deadlock was only broken just before halftime when captain Lautaro Martínez quickly tapped in a close-range rebound after his initial shot was saved.

Many expected Inter to win easily, but an unexpected event occurred early in the second half when Ofri Arad rose high to deliver a precise header into the bottom corner, leveling the score at 1-1 for Kairat.

Nevertheless, the Italian team remained composed and soon regained the lead thanks to a decisive strike from the edge of the penalty area by Carlos Augusto.

With this result, Inter Milan shares 12 points with Bayern Munich and Arsenal after 4 matches, while Kairat is still searching for their first victory on the continental stage.
