Right after kickoff, Man City pushed forward aggressively and quickly took full control of the game. In the 23rd minute, Phil Foden opened the scoring with a beautiful low shot from outside the box following a perfect assist from Tijjani Reijnders. Just six minutes later, Erling Haaland doubled the lead by calmly tapping into an empty net from Jeremy Doku’s precise cross.
