Vietnam National Futsal Team's Match Schedule at the 2026 Asian Cup Finals

Updated match schedule for Vietnam's futsal team in Group B at the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship finals.

According to the draw results on the afternoon of November 5, Vietnam's futsal team was placed in Group B alongside Thailand, Kuwait, and Lebanon. This group is considered relatively manageable for coach Diego Giustozzi's squad since all opponents are familiar rivals.

In September, coach Diego Giustozzi's team conducted a training camp in Kuwait to prepare for the Asian futsal qualifiers. During this period, the red-shirted team played two friendly matches against Kuwait's national team, winning both games (3-2 and 3-1).

Meanwhile, Lebanon was the direct opponent for Giustozzi’s team in Group E of the 2026 Asian futsal qualifiers. In their encounter, Vietnam easily defeated Lebanon with a 4-0 scoreline.

The toughest competitor for Vietnam in Group B is Thailand, the reigning runner-up of the tournament. Notably, the two teams will face each other at the 33rd SEA Games (in December) before meeting again on the Asian stage.

The 2026 Asian Futsal Championship finals will be held from January 27 to February 7, 2026, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Sixteen teams are divided into four groups, playing a single round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals. From the quarterfinals onward, matches will be knockout rounds to determine the continental champion.
