Cristiano Ronaldo has shocked the football world by openly sharing his deep sadness about his former club MU, coach Ruben Amorim, and forecasting the Red Devils’ future.
At the end of 2023, before leaving MU for Al Nassr, Ronaldo gave a controversial interview with journalist Piers Morgan. This time, in an exclusive on Piers Morgan Uncensored, the 39-year-old superstar boldly revealed the darkest sides of Old Trafford and issued a chilling warning to coach Ruben Amorim.
"He’s doing his best… but don’t expect miracles. In Portugal, we say: Miracles only happen in Fatima… And Amorim is not God," Ronaldo said. Even though MU is just 2 points behind second place after 10 matches, Ronaldo still perceives the internal storm within the team: "I am saddened by the club – one of the most significant teams of the century, which I still hold in my heart. I gave everything there, but now they are going down the wrong path. And change is not only about the coach or players."
