Micky van de Ven dazzled with a solo masterpiece in Tottenham’s 4-0 victory against FC Copenhagen during the Champions League qualifying round early today.
At the 64th minute, Micky van de Ven scored an incredibly impressive solo goal for Tottenham. Beginning from the very edge of Tottenham’s penalty area, he sprinted 75 meters before perfectly finishing into FC Copenhagen’s net. The Dutch defender bypassed at least four Copenhagen players before unleashing a skillful shot.
After Joao Palhinha regained possession just outside Tottenham’s penalty box, van de Ven took the ball himself and dashed straight through the opponent’s defense. He even refused to pass to an unmarked Kolo Muani, opting instead to complete his third goal for Tottenham solo. This marked van de Ven’s sixth goal of the season.

Brennan Johnson opened the scoring in the 19th minute but was later shown a red card for a rough challenge. Despite this, Tottenham maintained good control of the match. Palhinha scored the fourth goal, and Richarlison had a penalty chance in stoppage time but struck the crossbar.
Van de Ven commented: "This goal was essential. Last weekend was really tough. We lost at home to Chelsea, which was quite heavy. Tottenham needed to lift their morale, and we achieved that perfectly."
