Coach Harry Kewell was surprised that the V-League had to pause for 3 months to allow the Vietnam U22 team to participate in the SEA Games and the 2026 AFC U23 Championship, but he affirmed that Hanoi FC had prepared to handle this unexpected situation.

According to the plan, after the round 11 matches on November 10, the LPBank V-League 2025/26 will be suspended until January 30, 2026, before resuming play, excluding the round 4 rescheduled match between HAGL and CAHN on December 18.

Regarding this matter, Hanoi FC’s coach Harry Kewell said: "Whether as players or coaches, we are not accustomed to such a long break. However, we have a detailed plan and know what we need to do to be ready for the new season within the next 90 days. Still, our focus remains on the next game."
