Coach Thach Bao Khanh pointed out the factors leading to PVF-CAND’s significant defeat against Hanoi FC.
On the evening of November 4th, PVF-CAND suffered a 0-4 loss to Hanoi FC in the 10th round of the V-League. Facing a host team superior in every aspect, Coach Thach Bao Khanh’s squad struggled intensely to defend.
After the match, the strategist mentioned that the team’s weakened lineup partly contributed to conceding many goals: “Currently, six players are ill, so we couldn’t field our strongest squad. Players like Thai Quy and Van Thuan lacked full fitness but still had to play. We only registered eight substitutes, which was also a factor leading to today’s defeat.”
“We anticipated Hanoi’s style of play, but once the match started, executing our plan was challenging. Hopefully, after this outbreak, our squad will recover soon to prepare for the match against The Cong Viettel,” Coach Thach Bao Khanh added.
With this defeat, PVF-CAND has gone 9 matches without a win. Nevertheless, Coach Thach Bao Khanh affirmed that the entire team will give their best effort, especially with changes to foreign players in the second half of the season: “We are determined to perform at our utmost this season. In phase two, the club will also replace foreign players to strengthen the squad.
As a newly promoted team mostly composed of young players, Coach Thach Bao Khanh expressed full confidence in this talented generation: “I always believe in the young players. They must learn to handle pressure, adjust their mindset, and maintain form to avoid injuries. We will manage rotations to give these young players more opportunities and experience.”
