Naturalized player Hoàng Hên shines brilliantly before the Vietnam national team gathers

Hoàng Hên stood out brightly by scoring twice against PVF-CAND in the 10th round of the 2025/26 V-League.

Hoàng Hên was the brightest highlight in Hanoi FC’s 4-0 victory over PVF-CAND on the evening of November 4th.

Before the first half ended, taking advantage of PVF-CAND’s defensive error, Hanoi FC launched a quick counterattack. Fernando skillfully maneuvered on the left wing and delivered a precise cross for Hoàng Hên to finish closely, putting the home team ahead 2-0.

Early in the second half, the midfielder wearing number 11 continued to impress with an inspired solo effort. From a counterattack, Văn Quyết received the ball from Fernando in the center before passing it right to Hoàng Hên. The naturalized player skillfully cut past two PVF-CAND defenders and curled a precise shot into the far corner, completing his brace. Notably, Hên also assisted in the goal that sealed the 4-0 victory for Tuấn Hải’s side.

Hoàng Hên’s two goals not only secured an important win for the capital’s team but also held special significance for him personally. After a long injury layoff and limited playing time, this brace will surely be a great boost to regain his form and confidence.

It is reported that Hoàng Hên may be called up by coach Kim Sang Sik to the Vietnam national team during the November FIFA Days to begin familiarizing himself with teammates and the Korean coach’s philosophy.
