Head coach Cristiano Roland highly appreciates the value of the upcoming training camp in Japan and stresses that the Vietnam U17 team must prepare thoroughly for the 2026 AFC U17 Asian Cup qualifiers.
On the afternoon of November 4th, the Vietnam U17 team continued their training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center. Having just played a friendly against Cambodia U17 on the evening of November 3rd, Coach Roland had his players do light, relaxing exercises aimed at loosening muscles and restoring energy after a demanding training phase.
He expressed satisfaction with the players’ training attitude and adaptability: "What has pleased me most over the past month is that the players always feel comfortable wearing the national team jersey. Some have been called up before, while many are first-timers. Despite that, all show a strong desire to contribute, quickly get used to the team environment, and adapt well to the playing style built by the coaching staff. They are becoming more confident and clearly understand their roles in each situation. This is the foundation for the team to be in the best shape when entering the 2026 AFC U17 Asian Cup qualifiers."
