Right after the kickoff, Man City quickly took control of the game. In the 17th minute, Rayan Cherki delivered a clever assist for Erling Haaland, who made a sharp finish to open the scoring 1-0 for the hosts.
However, just 8 minutes later, Bournemouth unexpectedly equalized with a precise follow-up shot by Tyler Adams after a chaotic situation in the penalty area.

Man City wasted no time regaining the lead. In the 33rd minute, Cherki again impressed with a smart through ball, allowing Haaland to complete his brace with a skillful finish, making it 2-1.
