Naturalized player Hoàng Hên scores his first goal for Hà Nội FC

Midfielder Đỗ Hoàng Hên scored his inaugural goal for Hà Nội FC on the night of October 25th.

Hoàng Hên's goal came from a penalty kick. Specifically, in the 50th minute, Milos from the home team committed an illegal block against Passira. Immediately, referee Nguyễn Mạnh Hải pointed to the penalty spot. After over 5 minutes of VAR review, the decision was upheld, giving the visiting team the advantage.

From the penalty spot, Đỗ Hoàng Hên was given the chance to score his first goal in the purple kit. The newly naturalized Vietnamese player made no mistake, striking the ball into the right corner of the goal to put his team ahead 2-1.

This was Hoàng Hên's second match starting under coach Harry Kewell. He delivered a decent performance but did not create many standout moments. Before scoring, he had a shot in the first half that was off target. At the 86th minute, the head coach substituted him out. After nearly a year without playing, the 1994-born player will need more time to adapt and integrate into the new team's style.

For Hà Nội FC, after struggling with the weather in the first half, they regained control in the second half, securing a 3-1 final victory. This win brought the purple-shirted team to 11 points, temporarily moving them up to 6th place in the standings. Notably, this was coach Harry Kewell's first victory since taking charge of the capital club.
