Arrange 7 warm-up matches, and the U20 national football team will sprint to the Asian Cup

Reporter Chen Yong and Han Bing report On January 3, the U20 national team announced the list of training camps for the U20 Asian Cup, which began on January 6 and then participated in the U20 Asian Cup held in Shenzhen from February 12 to March 1. During the entire preparation period, the Ministry of State Administration has formulated a comprehensive preparation plan, and the U20 national football team will play seven warm-up games, against three U20 Asian Cup teams: Uzbekistan, Syria and Thailand.

In this list of 28 people, the players who have performed well in the national youth team recently are among them, in comparison, the lineup of the central axis of the midfield and backfield is very stable, such as double central defenders Shi Songchen and Peng Xiao, midfielder Yi Mulan, central midfielder Chen Zeshi, of course, their respective positions also need to find excellent substitutes.

The variables in the national youth team are the full-backs and the attacking players up front. The national youth team has sufficient configuration in the position of fullback/winger, Tang Tianyi performed very well, Mao Weijie, Wang Yifan, Bai Yutao, including Wang Haobin, who returned to the national youth to play as the main left winger, have good abilities. In addition, the national youth has Liu Chengyu, Zhu Pengyu and Du Yuezheng in the center position, and all three of them have played well in the past warm-up games. In contrast, the national youth team is slightly insufficient in the position of fullback, and it is mainly Yang Xi and He Yiran who are currently playing.

The national youth team will submit an official list before the U20 Asian Cup, and the 28-man roster will also be reduced at that time, and the players who will be adjusted are likely to be players on the offensive side of the frontcourt.

In order to prepare for the U20 Asian Cup, the National Administration Department of the Football Association has also formulated a comprehensive preparation plan, including going to Thailand for training. In the entire preparation period before the start of the Asian Cup, a total of 7 warm-up matches were arranged, including the U20 national football team of Uzbekistan, Syria and Thailand, which are all participating teams in this year's U20 Asian Cup, and the U20 national football team will also warm up with some club teams.

Compared with the 01 national youth and 03 national youth, the strength of the 05 national youth has recovered significantly, the midfield strength has been significantly improved, and there are many players to choose from at the offensive end of the frontcourt, in addition, Djurdjevic has also built a good system. What's more, the U20 Asian Cup is being held on home soil, which increases the chances of the national youth team hitting the U20 World Cup.

Of course, we must also recognize that the recovery of China's youth football level is a long-term process, and that there are only four places for the U20 Asian Cup to qualify for the World Cup, unlike the U17 Asian Cup, which has been changed to eight. From this point of view, if the national youth team wants to return to the World Youth Championships after 20 years, it must play to the ceiling of its own level to have hope.

In the group stage of the U20 Asian Cup, the first opponent of the national youth team, the Qatar national youth team, Spanish coach Saliugat only took office in July last year. In September last year, he won all three qualifiers and conceded zero goals, and on January 3, he just announced the 30-man training list for the U20 Asian Cup.

As many as 16 of them stayed in Spain's lower divisions. There are as many as 12 in Caraola, three in the third division, and one in Leonessa. However, they all play in the echelons of their respective clubs. Among them, goalkeeper Osman, central defender Abdalah, wingback Motaman, forward captain Hassan (Sudanese), defender Bassam, wingers Guda (Egyptian), Tasin (Indian), midfielder Fryak (Algerian), Joao Pedro (Brazilian) and other main or rotation players are naturalized players, except for Joao Pedro, the rest of the naturalized players are in Spain.

The Qatar national youth team mainly plays a 4231 formation, mainly relying on left winger Guda and captain Hassan, as well as defender Bassam, and the Qatar national youth team in the qualifiers 8 goals were covered by the above 3 people, and the striker of the Saad echelon Faragalla contributed 3 assists. This is the team with the highest proportion of foreign players in the Qatar U20 national youth team, and the Qatar Football Association also has high hopes. Two years ago, Qatar lost all three games in the group stage of the U20 Asian Cup, including a 1-9 defeat to Australia. The Qatar Football Association hopes that the national youth team, which is centered on foreign players, can repeat the history of reaching the semi-finals and winning the U20 World Youth Championship six years ago.

In order to increase their competition experience, the Australian national youth team warmed up with Uruguay and Chile in South America in June last year, participated in the Southeast Asia U19 Youth Championship in July, and participated in the Panda Cup in Chengdu after the draw for the group stage of the U20 Asian Cup. The Australian national youth team has a lot of foreign players, and the strength on paper is the strongest in the group. But how many will be able to participate is still unknown. In the Panda Cup during the international break last November, goalkeepers Hall (Brighton & Hove Albion Under-21s), Pavlesic (Bayern B), centre-back Esposito (Lecce) and forward Agosti (Perugia B) did not participate.

Bonidig (Celtic Team B), Benny (Queens Park Rangers Team B), Engelst (Benfica Team B), Younis (PSV Eindhoven Youth) and others participated in the U20 Asian Cup qualifiers and the Panda Cup in September last year. But their participation in the Under-20 Asian Cup, which is not an international break in February, depends on the wishes of their respective clubs.

In last year's U20 Asian Cup qualifiers, the Kyrgyzstan national youth team drew with the substitute lineup of Japan's U20 national youth team, and the semi-main lineup of the Panda Cup defeated the national youth team that lacked many main players 1-0. Most of the players in the Kyrgyzstan national youth team play for the Bishkek Snow Leopards and participate in the Kyrgyzstan Premier League, which has more experience in the professional league. The main scorer Abdurasulov (5 goals and 1 assist in the season), winger Madaminov (4 goals and 3 assists), defender Ermeikov (3 goals and 3 assists), Nematov, defenders Durokediev, Yeschenkulov, goalkeeper Ismanarev and others are all playing in the league. Winger Almazbekov came through the youth academy of Turkish Super League giants Galatasaray and has even established himself in the Kyrgyz national team.
