It was revealed that Manchester United reached an agreement with Osimhen! 75 million can be signed, and Rashford's departure is a transfer prerequisite

Manchester United suffered a 3-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth for the second year in a row, with Bruno Fernandes, Garnacho and Hojlund squandering a succession of chances. Boss Ruben Amorim said after the game that the defeat was not due to a leaky set-piece defence, but because the chances created were not taken. The Red Devils are in desperate need of a striker who can score efficiently, and Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has been rumoured to be a target. According to the latest news, the club has reached a verbal agreement with the player, but everything still depends on the outcome of negotiations between the clubs.

The 25-year-old fell out with Napoli in the summer window, and he was loaned to Galatasaray in the Turkish Super League, where he scored 12 goals and provided five assists in 15 appearances. The Nigerian striker is a well-known scorer who has proven his ability in Ligue 1, Serie A and the Turkish Super League. He will think about playing in the Premier League, because as a Nigerian player, he has supported Chelsea and Manchester United since he was a child, which is half a "child's dream".

Speaking to former Premier League player Mikel, Osimhen said openly about the teams he supports: "I don't have a favourite Premier League team, but I have two shirts: Chelsea and Manchester United. A lot of my friends are Chelsea fans and some are Manchester United fans. The Premier League is the league that every African player admires the most, and it's a huge league."

Interestingly, Mikel's own playing days caused a transfer dispute between Manchester United and Chelsea. When he was still known as the "African Zidane", he had already agreed to join Manchester United from Oslo Lien for 4 million pounds and would sign a four-year contract, and he even lifted the Red Devils' number 21 shirt. But then Chelsea intervened forcefully, Mikel retorted, and FIFA awarded Chelsea £12 million in compensation. Mikel Mikel became the only player to have never joined Manchester United and brought in transfer income.

Osimhen's physical, speed, technical and tactical awareness earned him the nickname "Force of Nature". His breach fee is €90 million, which could drop to €80 million next summer, but Napoli are now widely believed to be available for sale for just €75 million (£63 million).

Manchester United are not Osimhen's only buyers, Galatasaray are interested in buying out, and while they may not have that much money, the other two potential buyers, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, are different, and they can comfortably meet the €75 million asking price.

United have been in contact with Osimhen's agent and will have no problem with personal terms, but the key is to negotiate a transfer fee on the club's side. The hardest part was convincing Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis that the Italian is not a good stubble and has always liked to open his mouth. It has been reported that Manchester United president Omar Berada has travelled to Naplesin to negotiate with the Germans in the hope of reaching a deal.

According to the financial report, Manchester United, who have lost a lot of money in recent years, are at risk of violating the Premier League and UEFA's financial fair play rules, so Osimhen can only afford to sell players, especially in the winter transfer window in January.

If Academy graduate Marcus Rashford were to be sold, all the proceeds would be net gains, which would be enough to support the introduction of Osimhen and give him a long-term contract to be "amortised" to reduce the financial impact.

With Osimhen currently on loan to Galatasaray, the buying club may also have to pay the Turkish Premier League leader a separate fee for the early termination of his loan if he is bought in the winter window, as was the case with Manchester United when they brought in Weghorst.
