Quang Hải shone brightly as CAHN triumphed over the home team Becamex Ho Chi Minh City in round 2 of the V-League.

The early goal allowed CAHN players to play with a relaxed mindset and completely control the match. Continuous pressure was applied towards goalkeeper Minh Toàn’s goal. Still, the home team Becamex Ho Chi Minh City showed they would not give up easily. In the 32nd minute, Zlatković had a great chance to equalize with a high header while unmarked, but the ball went directly to Nguyễn Filip’s ready position.

The turning point came near the end of the first half. In the 43rd minute, during a contest that was not very aggressive, midfielder Trần Trung Hiếu fouled Lê Phạm Thành Long. Losing his composure, the player reacted excessively and received two consecutive yellow cards from the referee, meaning a red card.

However, the reigning champions didn’t have to feel regret for long. As Becamex Ho Chi Minh City was forced to push forward to find an equalizer, huge gaps appeared.

In the 62nd minute, from a 3-on-2 counterattack, Léo Artur made a clever pass for Quang Hải, who fired a precise left-footed shot into the far corner, doubling the lead. This goal confirmed the quality of the number 19 midfielder and almost ended all hopes for the home team.

Becamex Ho Chi Minh City's nightmare ended in the 71st minute. This time, Alan played the role of creator with a breakthrough run down the right wing before delivering a perfect cross for Léo Artur to easily tap in close range, sealing a 3-0 win for CAHN.

In the remaining minutes, CAHN still created a few chances but no further goals were scored. With this victory, Coach Mano Polking’s team has 4 points and temporarily sits second in the 2025/2026 V-League behind newcomers Ninh Bình.
