Every individual accolade at the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship was claimed by athletes from the U23 Australia squad and Myanmar's national team.
The 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship concluded with the U23 Australian team crowned as champions. Myanmar finished as runners-up, while host nation Vietnam secured third place overall.
During the award ceremony following the final on the evening of August 19, the tournament organizers honored the top individuals. This year, all personal awards were taken home by the Australian and Myanmar players.
First, the "Rising Star" award for the best young player went to number 13, Alana Jancevski of the Australian women's team. The 2003-born athlete, who plays for Melbourne Victory, scored three goals in this year's tournament.
Meanwhile, Alana Jancevski’s teammate, Holly Furphy, was named "Player of the Tournament." The forward, born in 2002, was a standout in Australia’s attack, netting four goals. In the final, it was Furphy who scored the decisive goal in their 1-0 victory.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Furphy shared: "I am extremely happy and truly proud to be part of this team. It is a tremendous honor."
The "Top Scorer" award at the 2025 Asean Cup went to captain Win Theingi Tun, who netted 7 out of Myanmar’s 8 goals over five matches. This achievement is considered highly impressive for the team’s number 7.
The final individual prize, "Best Goalkeeper," was awarded to Myo Mya Mya Nyein of the Myanmar women’s team. In the final, she delivered an outstanding performance, making several crucial saves against the U23 Australian side and conceding only a single difficult goal.
